Most plumbing calls in Dubai are one of three things: something is leaking, something is blocked, or there is no hot water. The difficult part is rarely the repair — it is finding the problem without taking a wall apart on a guess.

What it costs
You get a written, itemised quote before anyone starts, so the price is agreed rather than discovered. If the job turns out to be bigger once it is opened up, the work stops and you hear about it first.
We do not publish a price list, because the honest answer to "how much?" depends on what is actually wrong. Send a description and a photograph and you will get a real number.

Plumbing — questions people ask
How long does a water heater last in Dubai?
Less than the manufacturer suggests, usually. Dubai water is hard, and scale builds up on the element and the tank, which is why a heater that worked fine for years can fail quite suddenly. Descaling extends its life; past a certain point replacing it is cheaper than repairing it again, and we will tell you which side of that line yours is on.
There is a stain on my ceiling. Is it the flat above?
Often, but not always — it can also be your own AC drain or a pipe in the slab. This is worth tracing properly rather than knocking on a neighbour’s door with a theory. We find the source first and put it in writing, which also helps if the cost ends up being split.
Who pays for plumbing repairs — the landlord or the tenant?
It depends on the cause and on what your tenancy contract says. As a rough rule, wear and tear and anything structural sits with the owner, and damage or misuse sits with the tenant. We quote the work and document what we found, so whoever ends up paying is deciding on facts.
Can you clear a blockage without chemicals?
Yes, and we prefer to. Shop-bought drain chemicals damage older pipework and often only push the blockage further along. Mechanical clearing solves it and shows us what caused it.
Do you replace pipework, or only fix leaks?
Both. A single joint or a flexible hose is a small job. Re-piping a bathroom is a bigger one that needs making good afterwards — tiling, paint — which we can do in the same visit rather than leaving you to find a second trade.
