AC Maintenance and Repair in Dubai
Filters, coils, drains and gas checked, with duct cleaning when it is needed.
An air conditioner in Dubai runs harder than almost anywhere else, and it fails in the week you can least afford it. Servicing one is mostly about the things you cannot see: the drain that is slowly blocking, the coil that is losing efficiency, the filter that is making the whole unit work twice as hard.
What is included
- Filters removed, washed and refitted
- Evaporator and condenser coils cleaned
- Condensate drain flushed and tested
- Refrigerant pressure checked, topped up if it is low
- Electrical connections and thermostat tested
- Air flow and cooling temperature measured
- Duct cleaning where the system needs it
- Photo report of what we found and what we did
Common problems we fix
- It runs but the room never gets cold
- Water dripping from the indoor unit or staining the ceiling
- A smell when it starts up
- Rattling, grinding or a sudden change in noise
- The breaker trips whenever the AC starts
- One room cools and the next one does not
- The unit short-cycles — on, off, on, off
Not on the list? It almost certainly still falls to us — describe it and we will tell you straight away whether it is ours.
How it works
- 01 Tell us what is happening, in your own words.
- 02 A technician sees it and tells you what is actually wrong.
- 03 You get a written quote before any work starts.
- 04 We do the work, and clear up after it.
- 05 You get photographs of the finished job.
What it costs
You get a written, itemised quote before anyone starts, so the price is agreed rather than discovered. If the job turns out to be bigger once it is opened up, the work stops and you hear about it first.
We do not publish a price list, because the honest answer to "how much?" depends on what is actually wrong. Send a description and a photograph and you will get a real number.

AC servicing & repair — questions people ask
How often should an AC be serviced in Dubai?
Twice a year is the usual answer for an apartment, with the main service going in before summer rather than during it. A villa with more units, or a home with pets, dust or a lot of construction nearby, is better on a quarterly cycle. The point of the timing is that almost everything that fails in July is visible in April.
What is the difference between a service and duct cleaning?
A service is the unit itself: filters, coils, drain, gas and electrics. Duct cleaning is the network that carries the air around your home, and it is a separate job. Ducts do not need doing every time — we will tell you when yours actually need it rather than selling it as routine.
Do you top up the refrigerant gas?
Yes, when the pressure is low. It is worth knowing that a sealed system should not lose gas, so if yours needs topping up more than occasionally there is a leak, and topping it up again is treating the symptom. We will say so and quote for finding the leak instead.
Why is water dripping from my indoor unit?
Nine times out of ten it is a blocked condensate drain. The water the unit pulls out of the air has nowhere to go, so it backs up and comes out of the housing. It is usually a quick fix, but it is worth doing promptly — the next thing it damages is the ceiling below.
My building has chilled water, not a split unit. Do you still cover it?
Yes. Most Dubai towers run fan coil units fed by the building chilled water system rather than a condenser on a balcony. The service is different — filters, coil, drain pan, valve and thermostat — and the building usually has access rules we work around.
How long does a service take?
A single split unit is typically under an hour. A villa with several units, or a system that needs the drain clearing and the coils properly cleaned, takes longer. We would rather tell you it needs a second visit than rush the first one.
